What You’ll Need to Provide:
- address of your damaged home,
- the names of people living in your household,
- a description of the damages,
- insurance information,
- your social security number,
- a telephone number and mailing address, and
- bank information.
You’ll be given a FEMA application number; keep that number handy. More information is available on the nashville.gov homepage. Only damages not covered by insurance qualify for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) assistance.
The FEMA National Flood Insurance Program has information on flood insurance coverage and filing claims.
Disaster Information Centers
Centers will provide general information on utilities, social service assistance, and legal and insurance information. Centers will be staffed by volunteers, Parks Department and other Metro employees. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
