Downloadable Audiobooks are digital versions of the latest best sellers, book club favorites, award winning authors that you can listen to on a computer or portable media device. A library card is required if using the service from home.

Please note: NetLibrary and Overdrive do not work with iPods or computers running Mac OS.

Finding Downloadable Audiobooks in Netlibrary

• Search by title, author or subject
• Browse titles in the Library Catalog
• Browse by Subject

Finding Downloadable Audiobooks in Overdrive

• Search by title, author or subject
• Browse Fiction
• Browse Non-fiction

Search the library catalog for downloadable audiobooks

• On the catalog search screen, select the radio button next to title, author, or keyword.
• Under the Collection/Library drop down menu, choose Downloadable Audiobook.
• Type the title, author, or keyword in the search box and click Submit.

If a downloadable audiobook is available, you will see an icon for NetLibrary or Overdrive. Click the title of the item to download the book.

Example searches:

• Subject search for "french" in the Downloadable Audiobooks collection will return audiobooks about learning French.
• Author search for "Stephen King" in the Downloadable Audiobooks collection will return all audiobooks by Stephen King.

Note: Library staff will be glad to assist with using Netlibrary and Overdrive, setting up an account or downloading audiobooks. Unfortunately, the library cannot provide technical support for personal computers, software media players, or portable listening devices.
