Feel-Good Book of the Summer

August 6, 2020

This was so uplifting and joyful I could hardly stand it!  This is the pick-me-up you need this summer.

Sunny Days is a highly entertaining look at the magical moment in cultural history that produced the diverse and feminist Sesame Street, The Electric Company, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, and Schoolhouse Rock.  I couldn't read three pages without looking something up on YouTube like 3 Is a Magic Number or Morgan Freeman as Easy Reader on The Electric Company. It also inspired a downright glorious rewatch of The Muppets Take Manhattan.  Get ready to live.
